Vendably provides an embeddable widget that shows your aggregate rating and latest published reviews on your own website. The reviews come from your Vendably account in real time, so the widget always reflects your current published reviews.

The widget is configured at /trust/ in the widget area or integration guide. Configuring the widget is an Owner-level setting.

Custom theming and per-merchant CSS are not yet available. The widget uses a default style.

    Setting up the widget

    1. Go to /trust/ and open the widget area or integration guide.
    2. Enable the widget for your account.
    3. Add each website domain that should be allowed to load the widget. This allowed-origins list controls cross-origin access and prevents other sites from embedding your widget without permission.
    4. Copy the embed snippet from the integration guide.
    5. Paste the snippet into your storefront in the location where you want the widget to appear.
    6. Load a page on your storefront from an allowed domain and confirm the widget displays correctly.

    What the widget shows

    The widget displays:

    • Your aggregate rating and rating distribution across all published reviews.
    • Your latest published reviews, each showing the reviewer's name (or Anonymous if they chose not to share it), their star rating, the review title and body, the date, a verified badge where the review was submitted via an invitation, and helpful-vote counts.

Only published reviews appear in the widget. Reviews that are in moderation, flagged, or removed are not shown.

    What Vendably handles automatically

Vendably serves the widget and the review data from a stable address. It enforces the allowed-origins list on every request, so only your approved domains can load the widget. You do not need to manage the serving infrastructure or set cross-origin headers yourself.

    Troubleshooting

Reviews are not loading. Confirm the widget is enabled in your Trust settings, and that the domain you are testing from is in your allowed-origins list. An unlisted domain is blocked automatically.

The widget shows nothing. You may not have any published reviews yet. The widget has no reviews to display until at least one review has been published. Check the review inbox for your current published review count.

The wrong domain is being blocked. Open the widget settings and check your allowed-origins list. Add the domain that should be permitted. Remember to include both www and non-www versions if your site uses both, as they are treated as separate origins.
