Vendably Trust vs Trustpilot
Trustpilot's Plus plan charges £289/month per domain, caps invitations at 300 per month, and retains your review data after account closure (Trustpilot Terms of Use and Sale for Businesses, November 2025, section 15). Vendably Trust has no invitation cap, no annual contract, and no separate Google Product Review Feed contract.
How they compare
The rows that matter most are the ones Trustpilot cannot match regardless of pricing tier. Review data ownership, Google Product Review Feed availability, and review type coverage are structural differences. Price is a separate line.
| Feature | Vendably Trust | Trustpilot Plus / Premium |
|---|---|---|
| Review data ownership | You own your reviews. Exportable at any time. Full export before account closure. | Reviews remain on Trustpilot's platform after account closure. (ToS Nov 2025, s.15) |
| Google Product Review Feed | Included. System-managed DataHub destination, XSD schema 2.4 XML. | Not available at any tier. |
| Review types | Seller, product, and service reviews on one profile. | Seller reviews only. |
| Invitation volume | No cap on any plan. | Plus: 300/month. Premium: 1,000/month. |
| Contract | Monthly, cancel any time. | 12-month prepaid contract. |
| Entry price (GBP/month) | From £99/month, billed per account. One price covers every domain and storefront you run. Scales with catalogue size only. | Plus: £289/month per domain. Premium: £779/month per domain. Each additional domain is a separate subscription, so multi-store merchants pay again per site. |
| Add-ons and paid extras | None. Every capability is included at every catalogue size: product reviews, the Google Product Review Feed, unlimited invitations, the on-site widget, and dispute arbitration. No paid add-ons, no upsells. | Several capabilities are charged on top of the base plan, including product reviews, extra domains, invitation volume above the tier cap, and higher-tier widgets and integrations. Add-on pricing is quoted per account, not published. |
| Import existing reviews | Import adapter built. Bring your Trustpilot history at signup. | No inbound import from competitors. |
| Independent arbitration | Vendably staff arbitrate disputes. Merchant cannot remove a review by raising a dispute. | Algorithmic moderation. Direct staff arbitration at individual review level is not documented. |
| Sentiment scoring | Per-review sentiment score at submission time. Cross-pillar Intelligence dashboard available on the platform. | Within-platform sentiment summary. |
| Google Seller Ratings | Readiness tracking built. Aggregator enrolment subject to Google's programme timeline. | Available via Trustpilot's own Google integration. |
| On-site widget | JS embed, included on all plans. | Available on higher tiers. |

Trustpilot's Terms of Use and Sale for Businesses (November 2025, section 15) state that reviews remain on Trustpilot's platform after account closure. Vendably Trust stores your reviews in Vendably's database, attributed to your merchant profile. Export is available at any time via the platform.
Every review collected through Vendably Trust is tied to a real transaction via an HMAC-signed invitation token generated from the DataHub transaction record. That binding means your reviews are traceable, attributable, and portable.
All reviews
A merchant at 2,000 orders per month on Trustpilot Plus exhausts the invitation allowance and leaves 1,700 orders without a review opportunity that billing period. Vendably Trust has no invitation cap on any pricing plan. Invitations go out on the schedule you configure, for every eligible order, every month.
Every post-purchase invitation carries an HMAC-signed token tied to a transaction record from your DataHub order data. If the token is absent, expired, or does not match a known transaction, the review cannot be submitted as verified. The cap-free model does not compromise the verification mechanism.
Invitation sent. Every order covered, every month.
The Google Product Review Feed (XSD schema 2.4 XML) is a native DataHub destination in Vendably Trust. It runs on the same pipeline and the same refresh schedule as your product feed. There is no separate connector, no manual Google-side import, and no third-party feed contract.
When the feed meets Google's minimum review threshold, product ratings appear in Google Shopping results. Note: Google Seller Ratings activation depends on Google's aggregator enrolment process and timeline. Vendably Trust tracks the readiness signal and surfaces it in the merchant dashboard. The enrolment step itself is governed by Google's programme.
