Vendably connects to Google Search Console via OAuth and imports your organic search performance data automatically once authorised. The connection is stored against your user account. The data then powers the Organic dashboard and the Products and Opportunities views under Channels.

    What you need before connecting

    • A Google Search Console property that is verified (either a Domain property or a URL-prefix property).
    • A Google account with Owner or Full access to that property. Restricted access levels do not have permission to export performance data.

    How to connect

    1. Go to Account > Connections in Vendably.
    2. Find Google Search Console and choose to connect it. Vendably will redirect you to Google's OAuth consent screen.
    3. Sign in with the Google account that has Owner or Full access to your Search Console property, and approve the requested permissions.
    4. Vendably links the connection to your merchant account and begins importing your Search Console history automatically. The initial backfill typically populates the Organic dashboard within about ten minutes.

Once the backfill completes, go to the Organic dashboard to see your site-level metrics, top pages, and top queries.

    What data Vendably imports

After connecting, Vendably syncs the following on an ongoing basis:

    • Daily: site-level clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position; per-page metrics; per-query metrics.
    • Weekly: a rolling query-by-page view showing which queries drive traffic to which pages, over a 28-day window.

Recent daily data is retained for 90 days. The weekly query-by-page aggregates are retained for longer.

    Troubleshooting

My Search Console property does not appear after connecting: the Google account you authorised may not have access to the property. Go to Google Search Console, find your property, and confirm that account has Owner or Full access. If not, add it, then reconnect from Account > Connections.

There is no data on the Organic dashboard yet: the first backfill takes around ten minutes. If it has been longer than thirty minutes after connecting and the dashboard still shows no data, disconnect and reconnect from Account > Connections.

Data stopped updating: Google may have revoked the OAuth authorisation (this can happen if you change your Google account password or revoke app access in your Google account settings). Go to Account > Connections and reconnect Google Search Console to restore the sync.
