Weekly product update roundup: week 27, 2026
This week brought fixes to Google Ads audits and review inbox accuracy, new AI reply analytics, CSS setup improvements, and a new knowledge centre with feed guides and search.
What changed this week
Vendably shipped 27 updates across platform reliability, review management, Comparison Shopping Service setup, and documentation. The changes span three main areas: review operations and AI tooling, Merchant Center connectivity, and help resources.
Review operations and AI improvements
Your review inbox now shows a clearer picture of what needs your attention. The inbox leads with a headline that tells you exactly which reviews need replies first, your reply-rate trend, and a sentiment breakdown all at once. Five-star reviews are now framed as thank-you opportunities rather than score risks, and reviews held in moderation are counted and linked instead of hidden. If your reply history has not been imported yet, the inbox now says so instead of showing a reply rate of zero.
Able's AI reply feature has gained visibility into its own work. You can now see how many AI drafts you have approved versus dismissed, how many published automatically, and which reviews are waiting for your decision. Your daily review email now tells you when drafts are waiting, and the inbox shows plainly if drafting has paused because your AI allowance is used up. Able's usage history shows what each operation actually cost against your allowance, so you know exactly what you have spent.
The AI reply settings page has been polished: each star-rating row now sits on its own clean line, and the note about reviews of three stars or below no longer overlaps the controls. Able itself has a refreshed visual identity. Its mark is now a brighter blue and green orb with a gentle pulse, matching the Vendably homepage.
Reliability and data accuracy fixes
Your Google Ads Account Audit now recovers on its own if a health check is interrupted partway through. Previously an interrupted audit could show "Running" indefinitely and block you from starting a new one. Audits that stall are now cleared automatically within minutes so you can run a fresh one.
Search Term Insights now recovers automatically from missed data syncs, so spend and revenue totals reflect the full analysis window. Previously a failed sync could leave a silent gap in the data that the nightly update never refilled. Every gap is now detected and re-fetched on the next run.
Background processes that keep your product data, campaign insight, and billing reminders fresh now run on a fuller, more closely monitored schedule. The protection layer that keeps the site safe from automated abuse and spam has been upgraded to the latest version.
Comparison Shopping Service setup improvements
CSS switch requests are now actively monitored. If a switch takes longer than expected, Vendably sends you an email explaining exactly what to do next: approve the request in your Google Merchant Center under Settings, General account options.
The CSS setup page now checks that the Merchant Center account you enter is one of the accounts already connected to Vendably before submitting your request. This catches a mistyped or wrong account ID up front rather than leaving the switch stuck.
CSS setup now understands advanced (manager) Merchant Center accounts. If you connect a manager account, Vendably shows you the product sub-accounts you can actually switch, so you no longer risk picking an account that can never move to Vendably CSS.
You can now sign up for free CSS savings without an invitation. New merchants reaching the CSS start page can create an account with Google and go straight into setup, rather than being held behind the invitation-only gate. CSS signup is now a straight path: if you start from the Comparison Shopping page, onboarding takes you directly to CSS setup instead of asking you to choose between the full platform and CSS again.
Agencies can now switch many client stores to Vendably CSS in one pass. Select every Merchant Center account you manage, submit once, and get a clear summary of exactly what happened for each store, with a status column on your client list to track every switch afterwards.
Trust and reputation management
Your Trust area now opens on the Reputation manager, a single honest view of your rating, sentiment, aspect scores and where your reviews come from. The review inbox is now a focused work queue with moderation, flags and replies in one place, with clear labels for every time window and replies available on the reviews you collected through Vendably.
The review inbox now shows the reviews awaiting a reply as a clear bar chart by star rating, so you can see at a glance where to focus first. When you are all caught up, it tells you so.
The review widget and its setup page now carry the They Vouch brand, the independent review mark shoppers see across every store. Existing widget embeds keep working without any change on your side.
Platform, branding and documentation
The header now shows a compact Vendably mark on mobile and a refined full logo on wider screens, so the branding stays clean and legible at every size. Error pages have been refreshed so they always point you back to the right place. If a page cannot be found or something goes wrong, the "Go to homepage" button now takes you to the main site rather than leaving you stranded. If the service is ever briefly unavailable you will see a friendly, on-brand page instead of a blank error.
Vendably now has a knowledge centre at /knowledge/ with technical feed guides for every supported platform (Google Shopping, Meta, TikTok, Amazon, and more) plus weekly product-update roundups, available in English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian. Search is now built into the documentation. Start typing on any docs page and matching guides appear instantly, with a clear title and summary for each result, so you can find an answer without leaving the page you are on.
What you should do
If you use Google Ads audits, you can now rely on them to clear themselves if interrupted. No action is needed, but you no longer need to wait indefinitely or contact support if an audit stalls.
If you use Able for AI review replies, check your usage history to understand your current allowance spend. Review the new analytics in your inbox to see which star ratings you are approving and which you are dismissing, so you can refine your approval settings if needed.
If you manage multiple client stores as an agency, the bulk CSS switch feature is now available. You can select all your Merchant Center accounts at once and switch them in one go, then track the status of each switch from your client list.
If you have not yet moved to Vendably CSS, the signup flow is now faster and clearer. New merchants no longer need an invitation, and the path from the Comparison Shopping page goes straight to setup.
If you have experienced silent gaps in your Search Term Insights data, those gaps are now automatically detected and refilled on the next run. Your historical data should become more complete over the next few days.
Summary
This week focused on reliability, clarity, and ease of setup. Google Ads audits and data syncs now recover themselves automatically, your review inbox shows a much clearer picture of what needs attention, and CSS setup is faster and less error-prone. The new knowledge centre makes it easier to find answers, and the bulk agency CSS switch feature saves time for managers with multiple stores. Check your review inbox to see the new clarity, review your AI usage if you use Able, and consider the CSS bulk switch if you manage client accounts.
