Your Vendably plan includes a monthly AI allowance that powers Able, your AI assistant. This article explains what counts against your allowance, what does not, and how to extend it.
What uses your allowance
Invoked Able actions consume your allowance. These are the things Able does when you ask it to, such as:
- Generating product titles, descriptions, or content
- Running smart suggestions and recommendations
- Analysing your feed or campaign data on demand
- Other AI-powered tasks triggered by your instructions
What does not use your allowance
Ambient features are always on and do not consume your allowance:
- Able's background awareness and proactive nudges
- Daily briefings and automatic insights
- Read-only catalogue and performance summaries
When your allowance resets
Your allowance resets at the start of each billing period. You can see the reset date in the Allowance tab of the Able panel.
Using your own AI provider key
If you add your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key under Settings, Able routes invoked actions through your key instead of the platform allowance. This gives you unlimited invoked use, billed directly by your AI provider at their standard rates.
To add your key, go to Settings and look for the AI provider section, or ask Able: "How do I add my own AI key?"
