    Overview

Vendably operates on a single-platform pricing model where your subscription cost is determined by your SKU count bracket. You do not purchase separate add-on products for individual features. Instead, your plan tier includes all platform capabilities based on the number of product SKUs you manage.

This article explains how to access your subscription details, track your usage, manage billing, and adjust your plan as your business needs change.

Pricing model and SKU count brackets

Your Vendably subscription is priced according to how many unique product SKUs you manage across all your connected sales channels. As your SKU count grows, you move into a higher pricing bracket. Each bracket includes the full set of Vendably features at that tier.

CSS (channel synchronisation service) is the one exception to this model. CSS is always free and requires no paid subscription. You can use CSS features without any Vendably plan.

When your SKU count approaches or exceeds the limit of your current plan bracket, the system sends you alerts. This prevents unexpected service interruption due to unnoticed growth.

    Accessing your subscription details

All subscription and billing information lives in the Account area of the dashboard under Billing.

    From this section you can:

    • View your current plan tier and the SKU count limit included in that tier.
    • See your actual SKU count and how much of your allowance you are using.
    • Access your invoice history and download past invoices.
    • Update your payment method.
    • Change your plan yourself without contacting support.

    SKU usage tracking and alerts

The Billing section displays your current SKU count against your plan's included allowance. The dashboard tracks this in real time as you add or remove products.

When your SKU count reaches 80 per cent of your plan limit, you receive an alert. This gives you time to either upgrade your plan or reduce your SKU count before hitting the hard limit.

If your SKU count exceeds your plan's limit, your listings enter a SKU stop state. During a SKU stop, your products remain in the system but stop syncing to your sales channels until you upgrade to a higher bracket or reduce your SKU count below the limit.

Regular monitoring of your SKU usage prevents this disruption and keeps your sales channels up to date.

    Self-service plan changes

You can change your subscription plan directly from the Billing section without opening a support ticket. This is useful when your business grows and you need a higher SKU count allowance, or when you want to downgrade to a lower tier.

    To change your plan:

    1. Go to Account > Billing.
    2. View the available plan brackets and their SKU limits.
    3. Select the plan that matches your current or projected SKU count.
    4. Confirm the change.

The new plan takes effect immediately. Your invoice will reflect the change on your next billing cycle, with any prorated adjustments applied.

    Invoice history and payment management

The Billing section maintains a complete history of your invoices. You can download any past invoice as a PDF for your records or accounting.

Invoices are generated on your billing date each month (or according to your subscription cycle). They show:

    • Your plan tier and SKU count bracket.
    • The charge for that billing period.
    • Any prorated amounts from plan changes.
    • Payment method and transaction ID.

    To update your payment method:

    1. Go to Account > Billing.
    2. Select the payment method section.
    3. Enter new card details or update your existing payment information.
    4. Save the changes.

Keeping your payment method current ensures uninterrupted service and prevents failed billing attempts.

    Billing portal and self-service features

The self-service billing management portal lets you handle routine account tasks without support:

    • Update your payment card or billing address.
    • Change your subscription plan tier.
    • View and download invoices.
    • Check your SKU usage in real time.
    • Review your billing history.

These self-service features reduce administrative overhead and let you respond quickly to changes in your business.

    What success looks like

A well-managed Vendably subscription has three characteristics:

    1. Your active plan tier matches your actual SKU count. You are not paying for a bracket far above your needs, nor are you at risk of hitting a SKU stop because your plan is too small.
    2. You have access to your invoice history and can download invoices whenever needed for accounting or reconciliation.
    3. You monitor your SKU usage regularly and respond to alerts before your count exceeds your plan limit. This keeps your products syncing continuously to your sales channels with no unexpected interruptions.

Regular review of your Billing section, especially as you add new products or channels, keeps your account aligned with your business growth.
